You’ve Got This (You Really Do!)

The premise of this PODCAST is simply this:

The Christian life is not that complicated.

I would humbly suggest that from a purely biblical point of view, vibrant, dynamic, victorious Christian living is a pretty straightforward proposition.

Despite all of the endless books, sermons, lessons, blogs that load up a believer with their own unique lists of spiritual disciplines—each of which we MUST each incorporate into our daily lives in order to please God—I would humbly suggest that vibrant, dynamic, victorious Christian living can be summed up in one word.

One word that flows right out of Galatians 1:10.

Thank you for listening, and for sharing this message!!!

If Clichés Could Kill You

As you will hear in this PODCAST, there is a myth so commonly taught that it has almost become cliché. So universal is this teaching that if I echoed it in this message, very few would even question it.

Yet, it is one of the most exhaustingly exasperating, or self-exalting teachings we could ever hear.

And in that sense, it can often be diabolically defeating for any Christian. Perhaps even for you.

Give this a listen, and see what you think.

“While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks by Night…”

The Christmas story is without a doubt #QuiteAStory.

A familiar story. A profound story. An oft-repeated story.

So familiar is this story that I really do not need to comment on it.

Or do I?

As you will hear in this PODCAST, the principal parts of the story are well-known. The principal players in this biblical drama are names everyone has heard — Mary, Joseph, Jesus.

Yet, with all of that familiarity, there is one little tidbit of information — one word, really — that absolutely jumps off the page at me.

  • One word that puts the entire Christmas story into its proper perspective.
  • One word that goes straight to the heart of who Jesus was, who God is, what the Gospel is all about.
  • One word that goes straight to the heart of who we are.

One word…
