I mentioned it only briefly, in passing really, last week.
Time to talk about it in earnest this week.
As you will hear in this PODCAST, THIS is our hope.
A bright and beautiful hope indeed!
BTW, the cheering you will hear in the background are the precious high school students whom I met at Hartland Christian Camp in July. A better group of students you will not find. Anywhere.
May it be a blessing, to you as it was to them. Enjoy.

As you will hear in this PODCAST, there is embedded within the pages of the Old Testament one standout picture (one among so many) that we must consider together.
50 chapters were devoted to the painting of this one picture. (By way of contrast, do you remember how many chapters are devoted to painting the picture of the creation of the world? Two!)
When it came to painting the picture of Christ dying for our sins once for all time, God—forgive the cliché—spared no expense in painting this one.
This podcast—my stuttering, stumbling, verbal depiction of this painting—is singularly dedicated to the enrichment of your soul.
Enjoy!

Once again, while I am away speaking (at my final conference of the summer), I have not left you Podcast-less!
Welcome to Decision Night at Hartland Christian Camp.
As you will hear in the PODCAST, even though this message was not delivered at Safe Haven, it is the perfect followup to last week’s discussion of Passover.
I mentioned last week, and will remind you now, that before His arrest, Jesus had to keep a divine appointment in the Garden of Gethsemane. I didn’t explain that then; I do explain it now.
If you want to know what it meant for Jesus to bear the weight of your sin (and mine), this is THE picture of exactly what that meant.

I’m coming off of an absolutely exhilarating week with some of the finest high schoolers you’d ever want to meet. This at a place near and dear to my heart called Hartland Christian Camp.
For this week’s PODCAST, this is my Wednesday morning message from last week at Hartland.
Enjoy!!!

While you are enjoying this PODCAST, I have the privilege of speaking to the greatest group of High School students you’d ever want to meet—the heaven-sent and happy campers at Hartland Christian Camp.
Be encouraged. There is hope. Hope for anyone and everyone who has ever appeared to be beyond redemption.
You are about to see a snapshot of Jesus that you will hopefully never, ever forget.

As you will hear on this PODCAST, Jesus’s words, “My yoke is easy and my burden is light” freed me from YEARS of enormous guilt.
Think of this as Peter Puts on a Personal Evangelism Clinic, all in just two simple-yet-profound sentences.
Oh, and for good measure, at no extra charge, we will reduce all of Jesus’ teaching regarding our character as Christ-followers to one salient soundbite of but a lean-and-mean four, one-syllable words.
Trust me. You’re gonna LOVE this!
